There are two standard storage unit doors, the swing door and the roll-up door. Most of the smaller units, such as lockers, 5′ x 5′ and 5′ x 10′ have the swing doors, which provides an opening of 4 feet. We do have some of those smaller storage spaces with roll-up doors, and they also have a 4-foot opening. For the large units, such as 10′ x 10′, 10′ x 15′, 10′ x 20′, and larger, they will have roll-up doors that have about an 8-foot opening, so they look like storage garages.
Do I need a reservation or can I just walk in and rent a space?
Yes, customers can just walk in and rent a storage space, although it is always good to call ahead to make sure the storage unit you need is available. While we have a wide variety of storage unit sizes in our facility, there are times when our most popular sizes fill up.
